Mt. Job Trail Clean Up and Workshop – Farmington

Come learn about trail maintenance and help clean-up the trails to get them ready for the warmer weather! The NH Division of Forests and Lands is proud to be partnering with the Bartlett family, Scruton family, and Trailwrights.    Location: Blue Job Mountain, Crown Point Parking Lot. Date: Saturday, April 30th. Start time 8:30am. Bring work gloves, lunch, and water. Wear closed-toe shoes. Tools, snacks, beverages, and giveaways will be provided. Artist Bluff Trail Clean Up

Saturday May 14- Artists Bluff Parking Area – Rt I-93, Exit 34C, RT 18 exit off Franconia Notch Parkway. We will meet by 8:30 AM and are usually done by 4 PM. The work will be spring clean up to include removal of winter blowdowns, brushing, and waterbar cleaning.  We will also do some rock/scree work as time allows.  We usually finish up by 3P and then walk out by 4P. Take Rt I-93, Exit 34A into the Flume Visitor Center Parking Lot This is the first of four workdays scheduled for this trail this season.  Meet at the upper Flume Visitor Center parking lot. The effort is primarily to improve a brook crossing with rock, as well as constructing rock steps or scree walls and improving drainage. No experience needed as we train and supply the tools.
