DESCRIPTION:Saturday May 15- Artists Bluff Parking Area – RT 18 exit off Franconia Notch Parkway.\nWe will meet by 8:30 AM.  After introductions and safety information\, the goals for the day and the tools needed will be gathered.  Since last year had Covid restrictions\, there was only one workday.\nThis year this will be the first of four dates planned for this location.\nThe work will include removal of winter blowdowns\, waterbar cleaning and reconstruction and rock steps / scree as time allows.\nThe Artists Bluff Trail system maintenance has been a centerpiece for Trailwrights for over 25 years. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 10th\, Trailwrights of NH will be Working our second Day at 280 Meetinghouse Hill Rd. in Farmington\, NH at Dottie Bean’s Trail Network. \nThis is going to be one of our most ambitious Work (Fun!) days.\nMaterials for two 16 FT. bridges will be on hand to install. Both old bridge timbers are rotted and need to be removed.\nFor those who are not keen on bridge work\, they will be able to help install Steps / Waterbars on the Upper Loop trail and learn about erosion control.\nWe will have all the tools needed for both projects. \nBring good work clothing and footwear and gloves. Also a couple of water bottles and lunch/ snacks to last all day. \nWe will have an opportunity to enjoy pizza at the end of the day. (4P or so)\nJust in case\, bring your favorite headlamp! SUMMARY:Trail Work Day August 1 - Farmington\, NH
DESCRIPTION:Come join the Trailwrights on August 1st\, our first work day of the year at the Dottie Bean Property.  We will follow CDC guidelines in effect at the time.  Bring a face mask if you feel the need.  Our goal is to clean up trails on the property\, measure a bridge and determine material needs for future repairs and possibly blazing if time permits.   Wear sturdy boots\, bring work gloves\, water and lunch\, tools will be provided.  We will meet at 280 Meetinghouse Hill Road\, Farmington\, NH at 8:30.  Contact Ray Jackson at rayjtrails@gmail.com if further information needed. \n  \nDue to the COVID-19 situation we have delayed in scheduling many of our yearly events.
